I am brand new to your blog and I just read the article on white lights with eyes open... or as I just learned they are eye graines...which fits perfectly with what I have been experiencing. I am a person whom gets neck aches or back aches but very rarely head aches. Had I heard them called eye graines I might have ignored the rest of the info. I am so grateful for your story. I see orange with blue outlined tracers on the very edge of my vision on both sides and my peripheral vision is impaired while they last. They rarely last longer than 10 minutes but I definitely have to rest my eyes in darkness to continue the day without them coming back. And while I feel NO pain {well, a slight head pressure} when they happen, I do get super exhausted after I have them. My recover time is pretty quick considering all involved and now that I have a better understanding, due to your insightful blog, I will be faster with the calming thoughts knowing that I'm not crazy or have some weird rare tumor growing in my head. That last sentence is written with a huge smile on my face and a giggle in my heart. Have a great day {whoever is reading this}

The are like seeing sparkly diamond slits in the air all around along with mild tunnel vision and fatigue. It usually happens if I skip a meal, am dehydrated, getting my period, sleep deprived or coming down with a virus/cold. Fresh air, sleeping, dark quiet room and a salty snack and Gatorade helps me.
