I am so RELIEVED to know other people experience this same thing. I first saw these colors in acupuncture years ago. They were so intense that I could still see them with my eyes OPEN! Then again after an intense meditative yoga class. A few months ago I had my first Reiki healing session and actually saw new colors (although still predominantly purple and acid green). The most fascinating experience has been when I do somatic healing sessions with a local practitioner. I see very different colors depending on what part of my body she is working on and how she is manipulating it. The first time I saw her I was in a state of physical shock from unexpected trauma. When she started working on me it was like a fireworks show behind my eyes! I started making mental notes of what colors I saw and when but it's been different every time. Some of the new colors I've seen include black, red, burgundy, white, light blue, dark blue, emerald, fuschia, pale pink, yellow, orange, and coral. It doesn't always correlate to areas of my body where I feel physical pain either which is interesting. Additionally, I find that any kind of sound healing (bowls, tuning forks) has the same effect but with less variation of new colors. I always see the "flow" of colors coming from whatever direction the sound is being made. I have described this phenomenon to many different metaphysical practitioners and never found one who could relate. I thought I was going crazy! Thank you for taking the time to write all these wonderful posts describing so well what many of us have been experiencing.

Thank you for the explanations on aura colors. During relaxation and meditation I'm seeing golden-green and distinct green with blue-indigo-purple and distinct bits of red. It's an interesting experience and I'm glad that I've finally found some explanations. It seems that there's a color dynamic being connected with life events and meditation on various chakras witch totally makes sense. Thank you so much

I am so glad I found this. I started my energy journey two years ago and I predominantly see purple and green. From time to time, yellow and blue (more of a teal) pop in. No one could explain to me what it meant. I just settled on believing it was my own energy and gave up trying to figure it out. I'm so glad to read this and see there is a reason, and I'm not alone. Thank you.

Images are often visible along with colors during meditation and bodywork, and I'd encourage you to interpret them as you would dreams: they are your subconscious mind relaxing and being open to messages from your inner knowing as well as universal energy. From the image descriptions you've shared, it strikes me as you being in a time of growth and magical possibility, almost like a new quest in your life, as with a fairy tale. I'm curious what your interpretation is. Keep up your good work!
